China unveils a functional high speed, stealth helicopter that looks like a UFO at a local air show!

Well people every time we are told that China mean us no harm, we find something like this. They are building a 400 MPH stealth helicopter that is armed with Missiles. This is not a peaceful piece of military equipment!

Including stealth capabilities, this is a first strike weapon system...this is something to think about next time you buy from China! Personally, I have banned Chinese made products

They are taking the cash we buy junk with, and turning it into cutting edge weapons that can be turned against us in the future. This is not a peaceful country, they are bent on taking over everything, ASAP!

We, the consumers, need to stop buying all China made products. This will cut the funding for these weapon systems.

An experimental attack helicopter that looks like a flying saucer has been unveiled in China.

The strange flying machine, dubbed the Great White Shark, is loaded with an arsenal of high-tech weaponry and could take to the skies as early as next year.

Pictures of the UFO-like aircraft with an unusual central cockpit first began to circulate online last week after it featured at an air show near Beijing.

This stealth Helicopter was flown at a local air show, so she IS functional! The other part I do NOT like is that we have nothing to match this system....

Coated with RADAR Absorbing material and flying 400 MPH, this craft would be very hard to detect. Combine that with a heavy weapon load, will make this a difficult opponent to fight!

State-run Chinese paper Global Times later confirmed that the contraption was a new type of experimental helicopter known as the Great White Shark.

The craft can be coated with stealth materials and loaded with missiles, making it a potentially lethal weapon on the battlefield.

"The Super Great White Shark is a high-speed helicopter designed for future digitalized warfare," Global Times wrote.

"Attracted by the futuristic design of the aircraft, Chinese military observers pointed out that the aircraft's high-speed and stealth capabilities could give the weapon an edge on the battlefield."

The 7.6-meter-long, 2.85-meter-wide helicopter features a blended wing body design, which makes it seem as though the aircraft itself is a wide ring with its cockpit fixed in the center.

According to the information board at the exposition, inside the ring there is a coaxial rotor system with a diameter of 4.9 meters, which will likely provide vertical lift. On two opposite sides of the ring, both parallel to the direction the cockpit is facing, there are two turbojet engines that could provide huge horizontal thrust for high speed movement.

This is a 4.9 meter diameter rotor internally mounted will be a highly unstable platform, and even with stabilization jets, it will be hard to keep in the air. At 400 MPH, this design instability could be fatal! A counter rotating rotor would increase stability significantly, and with sufficient RPM it could double as a gyroscope to further stabilize the unit.

But This system, if they work out these stabllity issues; this could be a real threat.

WHY do we keep assisting China with technology and money; when we KNOW that they will use that to kill us later? I personally have banned anything I know is made in China. It has forced me to make some things I can't get manufactured elsewhere. Barring that, I will do without....
