Henri Falcón declines to retire the election race
The "opposition" candidate for the presidential contest of the upcoming May 20, Henri Falcón, met Monday with a delegation of businessmen representing the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (Conindustria) to discuss the ideas related to the industrial sector, proposed in his government program.
According to expressions published in the Twitter account of the presidential candidate, the private sector must be a fundamental pillar in the economy of the new Venezuela. He indicated that he is committed to generating conditions for entrepreneurs to work in the activation of various areas and the creation of employment sources.
Similarly, Falcon referred to elements linked to macroeconomics, an area that he considered of vital importance, since he estimates that the country's recovery starts from measures implemented on this scale, which, he said, will generate "a climate of confidence for investment." and support for national production.
In that meeting, businessmen that are supporters and financers of the opposition alliance MUD, who is not participating in the elections, asked him to withdraw the candidacy. The answer was that part of the MUD is backing him and it will be announced soon.

The Venezuelan pollster Meganalisis, conducted fieldwork in homes between April 9 and 14 at a national level among 1050 people and consulted on the participation of Venezuelans in the elections convened by the National Constituent Assembly and the National Electoral Council approved for May 20, throwing as a result that Maduro would win the electoral "contest" with 15.3% of the votes against 6.2% of Henri Falcón.

Henri falcon was the founder of PSUV on Lara state, he is a socialist (now called progressist that it´s a line of marxism) and he pretended to be opposition, while he was making control damage on the other side, now it works as counterpart of the government to say that elections are clear and give some legitimacy to the regimen.
I still believe that what happens in the elections will not really decide anything, the power of the institutions is held by a group of people, and unless they voluntarily decide to hand over power, the relevance of the elections is nil.
