Trump claims U.S.-Russia relations were the "worst ever" and are now much better. Helsinki declared a great meeting.

President Trump, he of the mundane superlatives, jumped right to them again this afternoon as he hailed the "open and deeply productive" tete-a-tete with the Russian leader. Let us hope this is the start of better relations between two of the three most powerful nations on the planet, and not mere posturing buy the Communist leader who is know as a past master at it.

Keeping in mind my warnings about possible nefarious long-term merger plans between the world's two northern giants, this is another hopeful moment coming on the heels of the Singapore Summit with China's client state of North Korea.

Here is a quote from Putin regarding the U.S.'s mainstream/Demonrat contention that the Russians meddled and "hacked" the 2016 American Presidential election:

"'I had to repeat that the Russian state never interfered, and does not plan to interfere in internal American electoral process,' Putin said, describing the claims as 'complete nonsense'.

Trump contradicted his own FBI and backed up his Russian counterpart's denials, saying: 'He just said it's not Russia. I will say this: I don't see any reason why it would be.' "

The President popped into Helsinki for a quick 90-minute meeting, and popped right back out again after declaring unmitigated victory (was there ever any doubt how he would describe it?...lol...)

Let's hope this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Trump contradicting the corrupt, criminal enterprise known as the FBI. It's time for the POTUS to come out boldly now and tell us that our intelligence agencies have been thoroughly compromised, for a long time, by TPTB, and that it is time to roll back their budgets, immensely. If the 2018 version of the U.S.-Russia "Cold War" is now indeed at an end, it is up to American taxpayers to insist on the "peace dividend" that should shortly accompany it.

Again, President Trump, though, we want what our first Presidents urged...good relations with all foreign powers-- not mergers, special relationships, or military alliances. Let's get out of the empire business, and focus on fixing the republic!

Sort:

Right on, Joey. People are people, wherever you go. They just all want to live in peace and freedom.

People weren't listening. He boldly stated that United States and Russian Federation hold 90% of the world's nuclear arsenal and

We must get along.

Fantastic! Thanks a million!

howdy there @mepatriot! have you ever seen such arrogance? Putin probably played him like a fiddle!

I don't know...Trump has proven he can play a tune or two himself. To me, the question remains as to exactly whom they are playing.

I have no idea so I give up on trying to figure them out. lol

The religion on the State has full-blown believers in the people against Trump attempting diplomacy.

Diplomacy is ALWAYS a good thing, agreed.
