Terrorism Statistic GermanysteemCreated with Sketch.

in #informationwar7 years ago (edited)

I used Data from 1997-2017 terror attacks recorded in Germany and grouped the attacks by ideology. I have done this because many Germans believe that Islam is not a tollerant religion, despite the Quran emphasizing through out the book that Jews and Christians are believers too and their holy books are valid aswell. So here are the results of terror attacks from 1997-2017:
20yearattacks.png

This shows how distorted the view about Germany has gotten from the news selectively calling one a terror attack and a shooting the other and how selectively the news has been reporting these incidents.

The reason I used those 20 years was that before there were a lot more Kurdish independence attacks but they are less relavent in Germany now. Also the data base ends in 2017. There was 1 Jewish extremist attack before 1997 but non after that.

{'christian': 1,
'islamic': 14,
'jewish': 0,
'kurdish independence': 4,
'left': 7,
'other': 23,
'right': 40,
'unknown': 118}

Of the total 207.

here is how I grouped them by ideology:

right=['Right-Wing Youths','Right-wing extremists','Neo-Nazi extremists','National Socialist Underground','Basque Fatherland and Freedom (ETA)','Bavarian Liberation Army','Free Network South (Freies Netz Sued)','Freital Group','Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA)','The Third Way (Der III. Weg)']

left=['Autonomen','Autonomous Decorators','Dev Sol','Demonstration led by French Anti-Nazi Hunters','Fire and Flame for the Police (FFdP)','German Resistance Movement','Left-Wing Demonstrators','Left-Wing Militants','Left-Wing Terrorists','Left-wing extremists','Red Army Faction (RAF)','Revolutionary Cells','Rote Zora','Shutdown G20: Take Hamburg offline!','Turkish Communist Party/Marxist (TKP-ML)','Turkish Leftists']

kurdish=['Bahoz','Kurdish Dissidents','Kurdish Militants','Kurdish Protestors','Kurdish Separatists','Kurdish Sympathizers',"Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)",'Kurds']

islamic=['Hizb al-Tahrir al-Islami (HT)','Islamic Golden Army','Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)','Jihadi-inspired extremists','Muslim extremists']

jewish=['Israeli extremists']

christian=['Yazidi extremists','Thomas Muenzer Wild Band']

Finally I would like to say that these 'Islamic' attacks I would rather consider to be Wahabism attacks. Which is a intollerant ultra conservative ideology that does not is not compatible with the values of Islam despite it self identifying its self to be 'Islamic'.

can you link me the actual "report"? i would like to see how they come up with that statistic and what database they used.

So far I cannot find the actual document or book...😔

:) np. I just found the original news article about it.

source
which I believe is the article they metion. But I find it hard to believe they only saw 29 terrorist attacks when I found 207 in a similar timespan.
My guess is they have a sampling error in their statistic as also on the news only Islamic terror is refereed to as "terroristic". In my statistic I used all forms of terror. And 29 is small, we had more attacks on refugee camps in Germany than that which I would consider to be terroristic. Maybe jihadi terror attacks are more successfull in killing people? I will look back over the data when I have time and get back to you.

The discrepancy is from deaths, which causes real terror.

so your question is which 'which group cuases the most terror' not 'which group is most likely to cuase terror'?

they use the same database as I did. the number of victims does not really tell a story though about the attacker. might just mean they are better organized since they are an international network?

lololol check this they came to a similar result to what I have. its on the news now.

When you consider the German Authorities proven track record of covering up and downplaying crimes committed by migrants (New Years in Cologne) not to mention the German people's reticence to blame migrants when crimes are committed against them I would take these stats with a grain of salt.

As often is the case with Jihadi violence only the reaction to it is considered a hate crime, ask yourself why these Germans attacked migrant centres could it be that they were sick of the Jihadi rape, murder and plunder?

It is the easy way to simply characterize them as evil right wingers while completely ignoring the evils arising from other ideologies.

wow what are the chances, 2 databases from 2 different countries independently downplaying violence.
you only focus on the violence that is news worthy like terrorist bombing that was done by an international organisation, yet the hundreds of attacks on refugee camps are not being reported on the news. also the news is very racist in what they call terroristic and what not. both data bases show that it is a problem in germany and its a dominating dangerous ideology similarly dangerous to wahabism in other countries. thats why wahabi kindergartens and mosques are being shut in germany, and racist teachers being fired aswell.
ofcourse every ideology can be made extremist but if the ideology has intolarant teachings such as wahabism or right then these ideologies become dangerous. there is even extremist anti extremists (extremist buddhists in thailand and myanmar). if the ideology teaches you to be extremist and unkind to people outside your group then ofcourse there will be more radical extremist.

Right extremism is a concern but all that needs to be done is to curb socialism so this doesn't happen again...

Germany is much more recently traumatized by socialists. im east german. Left terrorism is comparable not so high. even though europe does not self identify as socialist, europe has become a very great socialist state now.

i like how they made socialist reforms like 8 hour work day and they said war is bad. Antifa is wrong for trying to impose its ideas with violence. I hope the left gets united peacefully under european spring (european party in the election in germany known as Diem25). they condemn antifa and violent left groups.
