Media Victims Murdered Twice

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

If you are watching corporate media, you probably didn’t even notice that there’s some war in Yemen. And that UN described “Yemen as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis”. Not a word about waging Saudi-led genocide attempt over Yemeni people with US and UK weapons and logistics…

Of course, corporate media are busy — they have much more important story, as our @leecamp reports. For example, in the last year MSNBC had a hard job to report about Stormy Daniels, so they didn’t have the time — not a single time — to report about Yemen!

According to the recent Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting study, MNSBC had 455 segments on Stormy Daniels, and ZERO (and they have counted more than twice!) on Yemen! You see, defending human rights all over the World is so hard, that sometimes they are too tired to spot some minor US-backed genocide over 22 million people in the poorest country of the World.

But then, something really extraordinary has happened!

Remember CNN? Yes, that fake news factory that could not have been caught dead to publish anything against the “Empire”? Well, last week they have posted this map…

CNN, identifying civilian massacres in Yemen.jpg

…directly accusing US military/industrial complex for help in repeated mass murders over enormous number of civilians. This time, at least 51 including 40 children, aged 6—11 on Thursday, August 9th in Saada, Yemen. How have they missed so large chunk of truthful reporting into their program? They never did touch Yemen, with the exception when Wolf Blitzer expressed deep concern that banning Saudi weapons sales and preventing genocide could hurt corporate profits:

So, did CNN finally opened their eyes? Were they disgusted by the incredibly shameful way Locheed Martin tried to advertise their deadly “products”? Did they try the real journalism by mistake? Are they sick? Nothing of the above. They did it for one reason only:

That report can be used against Trump!

And that is the only reason. If it wasn’t, you wouldn’ have extensive coverage of the legal troubles of Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen at the corporate media, without a single word about the United States responsibility for support in YET ANOTHER horrific Yemen bombing where at least 22 children and 5 women were reportedly killed near Hudeidah.

Duration: 2:36

And there we have it — innocent victims that are murdered twice: first in real life, and the second time in dreadful corporate media manipulations. You must be aware that such a hypocrisy of biblical proportions cannot go without harsh consequences. But I wonder what those corporate stooges expect? What would be their happy end to this story?
