U.S. Attorney General

As CBS reports, President Trump announced he will nominate William P. Barr as the Attorney General, a position he already held from 1991 to 1993 during the administration of recently deceased former President George H.W. Bush.

As Matthew Whitaker, acting Attorney General after the resignation of Jeff Sessions, William Barr had a words of critique for Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and his “Russia investigation”, stating that the team ‘lacks balance’. Barr was even advocating a criminal investigation into former presidential candidate and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It will be very interesting to see will he stand behind his statements in this position. Here is a Fox News link where you can find out more on William Barr.

U.S. United Nations Ambassador

The time has come for the nomination of a new UN Ambassador, after the resignation of Nikki Haley. Some would say it was expected that reality-show POTUS would nominate a TV-show host (‘Fox & Friends’, President Trump’s favorite TV show) — Heather Nauert!

Nauert has very limited diplomatic experience, serving as the State Department’s spokeswoman since April 2017. Her unique “quality” would be very strong anti-Russian position, that could throw Haley in shadow. She will be remembered among journalists for a special “pearls” she was throwing around at her press conferences. For example, Nauert suggested that the 1944 D-Day landings were an example of the U.S.’ “long history with the government of Germany,” and that the U.S.’ relationship with Turkey was “like a marriage. You have a good day and sometimes you have a bad day”… What a fine diplomat to be!

Senat will have to confirm both nominations.

German CDU Secretary General

And in Germany, we have a successor at the position of a leader of German Christian-Democratic Union (CDU). It will be a mini-Merkel — Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer:

As it can be seen, she is almost a clone of “Mutti” Merkel, with just one expressed difference — much stronger anti-Russian position!

So, plutocracy does not intend to give up the war and global chaos. It’s the name of the game, and new staff are here to speed up that game.
