RE: Defense Contractors and Human Trafficking Part 1

Resteeming. Thanks for researching and compiling so much source material on the issue. I've heard DOD 'rewards' it's elite with children. The sexual abuse of children by government officials has been going on for decades. It's time to end the federal government. It's just too corrupt to reform now.

Anytime! all my posts are as much for people to do there own research, and read what I read, more than what I wrote, I'm still working on how to write posts, I kinda got a format going but trying to find a way to give the information in a short enough way to peak interest but trying to make it interactive with the links. Appreciate the feedback Thanks again!

Like you, I like to provide source link references. I put them at the bottom of posts, like footnotes. There aren't a lot of formatting options in Steemit. I'd be overjoyed if I could do link images. That way, clicking on images would take readers to the source webpage or video. I also wish DTube, DLive and BitChute videos embedded automatically, like YT videos.

Your use of images is nice. I know it takes time to crop and save them. So far, I've not worked out a way to size images with code. Uniformity of width helps keep the page organized and pleasing to the eye.

I've seen recommendations for use of gifs and dividers. I don't recommend flashing images on blog pages. It really distracts the eye and mind. The offering is information, not entertainment. Mind you, if you were offering entertainment, then flashing gifs would be OK.

You inspired me to go look for more formatting tips and I came across this page with source script to show how to set images to the left or right and run text down one side or the other. This 'simulates' columns and could be used to balance out a page with a number of images.

But, I'm yet to discover how to add sizing and padding. We'd have to crop all images and size them, then add a strip of white space to the side the text would run against.

Here's the page I found the information on:

And that's another point about pagination - even column length. Actually, I'm just writing to show what happens when the text over-runs the height of the image. 😁

Appreciate the information it's hard to get feedback especially being so new and not having a network built yet, I like the column idea, that was pretty sharp I'll be sure to bookmark you so maybe we can share information later on, take care!

I started an account last year, but didn't get too involved until the censorship on Google went over the edge. I'd seen spam filtering there for a couple years, but didn't know that over 9 million videos had been pulled down since Jan 2018. I just like participating in Citizen Journalism. That's a term from Lee Stranaham/OpenMind. He has a YT channel, but I don't think he's on the decentralized platforms yet. Anyway, like you, I just like to share what I learn with others. That's why I'm here.

I just found out how to change image size.
