The climate has always been changing. It's a natural cycle. On the geological timescale we are actually living in a very good comfortable time. the warmer periods are always easier to live in than the colder cycles. The truth is that the sun is what provides 99% of the heat on earth and the sun actually has cycles that give off less energy. We go through solar and grand solar minimums, we also have other factors like the Procession of the equinox, the Milankovitch cycle, the 26000 year wobble of the earth.
