Considering all property belonging to the state or country, they robbed me more than i thought with your line of thinking :-)
property tax is small compared to income tax and a zillion other taxes, i think you focus too much on that subset

I hate taxes. And taxes are bad to the extent that government can be corrupt. If government was perfect and good, completely, then taxes would be fine. But that is a fantasy. It is fiction in the same way that socialism and communism looks good in theory but not in reality
Indeed, property tax is too small proportionally, which is why wealth needs to be taxed more. This post however is about the sense or nonsense of taxation in general...
