RE: IFC S1-R31 - Catch Up Round - Wide Awake! My entry
So the side on which someone sleeps has that much influence on the dream we can have? That is information to me. And i am sure to many others.
Speaking of dreams, if i may ask. Can one awake from mid-way a dream and on returning to sleep, resume the same dream?
Otherwise thanks for being a great part of the @asapers
Returning to the same dream does happen, I know I have done on previous occasions, Not an easy thing to do, Once we have woken, we gain new influences to our thoughts, I do think to return to the same position you were in prior to wakening assists with the dream continuation. Even turning side to side can have an effect on a dream I would think.
My vote is too wak to give a reward to a comment, I have placed a vote on one of your posts so you can gain from the vote (tiny little bit)
You must be right. I have had instances when that has seemed the case for me. In deed, on some other occasions, i imagine i have indeed continued the dream on another day!
I have only until now kept brushing it aside. I had the feeling it is not possible. Thanks for the clarity.
And the vote! Don't worry, tiny is true! Thanks
I do not know how I missed this comment. Forgiveness.
Dreams can continue, in many cases, I have dreamt it is the same dream in partial, as in some of the same things happen in the two dreams, sometimes it advances, should you visit the same dream again, you may also walk a different path within the dream.
You can also influence your dream, in other manners by pre-sleep thoughts, This would be similar to the counting of sheep type thing, though you tell yourself a number of times you want to dream of ????? methods to empty the mind and achieve this I am not qualified to say.
when I was younger I used to wake myself up at pre-arranged times by repeating I wanted to wake up at that time over and over as I lay to sleep. and dang! it works. Using the same principle on a sleepless night were thinking cannot stop and it prevents sleep. I do a repetition of Time to sleep, empty the mind, clear all thought, these thoughts seem to influence the mind back and a goal or the aim to sleep is met.
Doing the same thing between those times, I have often had a dream about something I wished to dream on. Not always the dream I wanted, but the subject matter right. i might dream of an island, but it never had all the beautiful women preferred to be in the dream. lol
Wow..thanks for the explanation. I am now close to 'controlling' my dreams!
