The island of Aceh is worth the visit

Today little I want to tell you about my satisfaction while on this island.

a few months ago I was with friends visiting aceh island tip of indonesia, depart from banda aceh to island about 2 hours by sea journey.
friendly people greeted with the beauty of the beach, we camp here.
the next day to the lighthouse of the ancient relics.
little want me to tell you about the lighthouse.

Lighthouse of Aceh Island is a tower with a height of 85 meters was built in 1875 by Willem's Toren, located within a complex of 20 hectares in the District of Aceh Island was once one of the Peukan Bada Subdistrict settlement and in this settlement at that time occupied by officers Netherlands. This lighthouse adopted the name of the king better known as Willem Alexander Paul Frederik Lodewijk, ruler of Luxemburg Kala.

Willem was active in developing the economy and infrastructure of the Indies, including Pulo Aceh. In some of the references mentioned, Willem built the lighthouse aimed at setting up Pulo Weh (Sabang) as a transit port of the Malacca Strait.

All tower buildings built by Willem are dedicated to kings such as the Hollands and Caribbean Islands including the Aceh Island minaret tower that functions only in Atjeh and built on the Caribbean islands, the Hollands has turned into a museum.

The BPCB Aceh team in the 2012 maritime Survey lists the assets of historical and archaeological remains including a well-preserved Lighthouse and guarded by officers from the Sabang District Navigation Department II Sabang to ensure the lighthouse remains functioning well as the strong sea currents in the Malacca Strait are also numerous coral underwater between Sabang and Pulo Aceh, this lighthouse is the most vital wandering tool of sea travel.
