DTube - My Motorbike Got STOLEN in Lombok! Indonesia travel vlog
My last video from the island of Lombok, Indonesia and it certainly did NOT go as planned.

Renting a motorbike is always risky business in Southeast Asia for many reasons. One of which is that most of them don't insure their rental bikes so you are completely responsible for anything bad that happens to it.
Don't make the same mistakes I did. Watch the video to see what happens and how you can avoid a similar situation.

Dude my motorbike got stolen in Lombok as well!!! Literally went out for a surf and two hours later it had been picked up and walked away with. Same situation with the insurance as well. I feel your pain brother! Hope it didn't hit the wallet as hard as it did me. Best of luck on the rest of your travels!

I'm not sure why it's different in Lombok. I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. Thanks for the follow.
it' different in Lombok because 1) it is less populated than Bali 2) They are not Hindus who believe in Karma. Most criminals in Bali come from other islands...

For sure @daveonarrival. We tried renting a motor bike when we went to the island of Bohol Philippines. Plenty of locals and foreigners used rented motor bike 🏍.
