MacroWorld #17 | Unicorn Beetle
Unicorn, hearing this name my imagination was directed to the world of nowhere. And this is the result of my shots of this legend animal in the real world.
Unicorn, mendengar nama ini imajinasiku langsung tertuju pada dunia antah berantah. Dan ini adalah hasil jepretanku hewan legenda ini dalam dunia nyata.
Horn beetle or Oryctes Rhinoceros or also known as Unicorn Beetels. This beetle is famous for its hard shell and a very strong force because it can lift the burden 850 times heavier than his body.
Kumbang tanduk atau Oryctes Rhinoceros atau juga dikenal dengan nama Unicorn Beetels. Kumbang ini terkenal dengan cangkangnya yang keras dan tenaga yang sangat kuat karena mampu mengangkat beban 850 kali lebih berat dari tubuhnya.
These beetles usually live in forests where there are many dead trees that serve as nests as well as their larvae food sources. As for their habitat can be found almost all over the world. The natural enemy of beetle horns are bats, birds, raccoons and rats.
Kumbang ini biasanya hidup di hutan yang terdapat banyak pohon mati yang dijadikan sebagai sarang dan sekaligus sumber makanan larva mereka. Adapun habitat mereka dapat ditemui hampir diseluruh dunia. Musuh alami kumbang tanduk adalah kelelawar, burung, rakun dan tikus.
