Other side of Diwali
Diwali is one of the biggest festival of India. It is celebrated in every part of the country with full enthusiasm and joy. If you are from India, your social media accounts must have been filled with pictures of Diwali during the festive season. It is a festival of light and people decorate their house and work place with lights and welcome the Goddess of wealth, Lakshmi ji with Lakshmi Puja. You must have noticed people sharing pictures of lights, lamps, decorated house, rangoli, etc. on Diwali. This is what makes this festival so exciting to celebrate where you can make your house clean and beautiful and spend quality time with your family and friends.
But today, I am gonna share some images of Diwali which is completely opposite. During every Diwali season a lot of waste gets accumulated and the pollution level increases tremendously. Especially, Air and noise pollution see a sudden rise on the day of Diwali. When we talk of cleaning of our houses to welcome the Goddess of wealth, we mostly forgot the idea of cleaning the public temples. I am sharing the image of a temple on the next day of Diwali. You can see the cleanliness in the temple :(
How can we expect the Goddess of wealth to come to our houses when we left their temples untidy and full of garbage on the next day of Diwali? Isn’t it?
Ther pictures are clicked at the noon and I think, the temple should get cleaned by that time.
