Humility is great quality that you need to have and that you need develop every day in your life.  Humility gives honor, as a wise person it gives you view points where you become capable of solving problems. 

A humble person is a wise person, he inherit honor and gets more grace. But the fools carry away dishonor. 

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6

“A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit” Prov 29:23

Humility makes you free from subjectivity allowing you comprehend objective reality. Humility is a state of honor that gives purpose and meaning to your life. God teaches us the humble his way that why the scripture says

 “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way” Psalm 25:9

Your proud complicates your life, it blinding you to the fascinating gracious person of God and separating you from your most important love. Arrogant person is more self centered; more indifferent, more focused on himself and by far that is foolishness. When arrogance comes, then comes dishonor but humble is wisdom. 

“When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom” Prov 11:2

Therefore, as a humble person always submits yourself to legitimate authority. Always seek reality and accepts truth. Your life is not egocentric, your life belong to a far greater plan centered in God. Humility gives you view point where you become capable of solving problems as a wise person. It also makes you free from subjectivity allowing you comprehend objective reality. It is the essence and plan of God
