If that is true, then this is most likely how it will play out. Those who purchased during this 8 days will get the 30% bonus and those who purchase during the crowdsale will get it for the rate. Because you will be able to trade JOT for ETH on IDEX, you have to assume whatever people have them for the 30% will immediately sell to get that 30% profit on ETH, but that will set the price. The volume will be low so it will be vulnerable to manipulation and many will buy back in as the price goes down. The project does seem extremely sound and the developers seem to know what they are doing I saw that Q&A, but you have to imagine that until the platform is up and functioning JOT will rise and fall based entirely on speculation of the project. There is absolutely a lot of value to be made for these early adopters now (probably much more than the 5x you mention) but MAYBE only for a few weeks tops.
