ABOUT THE EXCEPTIONAL PROJECT KNOWN AS QUADRANT PROTOCOL

The importance of authentic data in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning etc, cannot be overemphasized as good data gives rewarding results and vice versa.
According to Nick R. Feller, data can be seen as the oil needed in machine learning.
A study has shown that the current data economy has not yet been fully taken advantage of at the same time being chaotic.
Since authentic data is needed in AI, algorithms, machine learning so as to create good products and services, therefore there is a great need for a data ecosystem which is transparent, free of chaos, can be traced and reliable. To achieve these led to the creation of Quadrant Protocol.
Quadrant is a blockchain-based protocol designed to work with either centralized or decentralized systems so as to;
a. Enable access to data,
b. Enable the creation of data,
c. Enable the distribution of data products and services; all these are carried out genuinely at the same time having a source.
Blockchain technology is of great essence to Quadrant Protocol as it ensures transparency and reliability.

WHAT QUADRANT PROTOCOL AIMS TO ACHIEVE

1. Quadrant protocol aims to build a data economy which can easily be accessible by small companies thus equipping them well enough to compete with big organizations like Google, Facebook.
2. Quadrant aims to build a transparent data economy. This is achieved by tackling the root of fraudulent activities existing in the current data economy. These fraudulent activities are caused due to the fact that companies hid their data sources, thus with the aid of blockchain technology Quadrant addresses this issues and achieve the following;
   a. Transparency being promoted,
   b. Tracing and tracking of data sources by companies which are used for compliance purposes,
   c. Companies getting the right data they paid for.
3. Quadrant aims to put measures in place to ensure that all data providers within the value chain are well paid. Furthermore, original data creators also known as nurseries will be compensated fair enough.
   Thus, with these, Quadrant Protocol becomes the blueprint for mapping of data as well as providing an organized system for use of decentralized data.

QUADRANT ECOSYSTEM

How It Works:
Quadrant works by providing the Infrastructures needed in order to promote the services between organizations. These services are made possible through the use of AI and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS).
DaaS is data provided on demand to users with no restrictions.
Quadrant also makes it possible for data vendors to sell their data with the aid of data smart contracts, at the same time buyers can purchase data with peace of mind, trace it and also ascertain its origin which is also made possible through Quadrant data stamping verification system.
With these measure set up by Quadrant, DaaS and AI service companies will be armed with the right tool (data) to build new products and services on top of Quadrant.

Participants Of Quadrant Ecosystem:

1. Nurseries: These are raw data providers creating the original data records. These raw data is also called "stars" which is then grouped into constellations.
2. Constellations: These participants create the needed smart contracts which can be used to map multiple data sources into one data product, which is then traded between parties.
3. Pioneers: These are the participants creating the needed data products with the aid of Quadrant's smart contracts.
4. Elons: Participants making use of the already created data products and with these data products new and outstanding products and services are created. Elons depends on constellations as well as their blueprints so as to have the proper guidance of the data space.
5. Guardians: These are participants in charge of the security of the ecosystem. They ensure the protection of the master nodes so as to retain the Integrity of the chain. Furthermore, they make sure that the data products created by the Pioneers are safeguarded as well as providing the need for data stamping services within the ecosystem.

TOKEN INFORMATION

Within Quadrant ecosystem is two different tokens;
i. eQuad, an ERC-20 token which will be sold during the Token Generation Event (TGE),
ii. QUAD, a utility token and the main currency of the platform. QUAD will be used for staking by Elons, for stamping of data etc. When Quadrant mainnet is launched, eQuad will be converted to QUAD.
