In my previous posts about SMART TRIP, I gave an overview of the platform and its advantages to users. In this post, I would like to educate my readers on the main features of SMART TRIP. Like I said in my last post, Smart Trip creates a decentralized platform that connects service providers with travelers and eliminates the cumbersome traditional system of travel planning execution. It also erases the function of middlemen which allows service providers to increase their customer base and the travelers to have a seamless travel experience.

MAIN FEATURES OF SMART PLATFORM

Creating Travel Plans; this feature allows users to plan their travels from the start to the end of their trip. The user chooses the routes they would like to take, the transportation system e.g. Plane, ship, Train etc., the accommodation and the places of interest he would love to visit. Then the platform gives user a list of available service providers to choose from. Users can also share their travel plans with other users.

Trip Chat; this feature enables the users to find people within the same location. Users can join the chat room of their interest or location. Users can also share information about their travel experiences like videos and pictures. The Trip Chat enables users to connect with service providers as well as rate their experiences.

Method of Payment; the accepted means of payment on the platform is Trip Cash which is the official token of Smart Trip platform. The user will pay for services with Trip Cash. The platform also proposes the creation of Trip Cash Debit Card which enables its users to make online and offline payments around the world the same way they pay with fiat Debit cards. There will also be creation of Universal Crypto Wallets (UCW) which users can use to store their Trip Cash as well as other cryptocurrencies.

Conflict Resolution System; when people are engaged in shared activities, disagreements are bound to arise. The platform will create Arbitration Committee. The committee will be chosen from among the top 50 users by rating. Users who want to launch arbitration procedures will need to pay deposit fees with Trip Cash, these fees are paid to the arbitrator’s wallets. If users agree to the decision of the arbitration committee, then such decision id binding on all parties, but if it is not, then such user can ask for a revaluation and such user will need another deposit fee.

Adverts; Businesses will also be able to promote their businesses so as to make them features and placed among top ad list. They can also create ads for special offers, and sales

CUSTOMER ACQUISITON STRATEGY OF SMART TRIP PLATFORM

The Travelers; Travelers are the major target audience of Smart Trip platform. Users between the ages range of 20-40 years are the major targets. Smart Trip proposes to reach their target audiences through Facebook ads, influencer marketing, active social media presence, Post ICO bounty, brand ambassador campaign as well as referral programs where users receive Trip Cash for bringing their friends.

Travel Service Providers; these are businesses that are involved in providing services to tourists such as accommodation, feeding, taxi and so on.
