CLOUT Token interview with Jeff Kirdeikis

I have recently got an opportunity to interview Jeff Kireikis, the Social Media manager for the upcoming CLOUT ICO. I am personally working very closely with this team and I am absolutely astounded by what they are creating for the crypto community. This platform is literally​ like Facebook meets Steemit/Reddit​, meets virtual reality and it couldn't come at a better time. I have been able to get a first look at the Whitepaper with their plan and their development team, and I am absolutely blown away. Just to hint at a few of the developers, take a look at OmiseGo and Ambisafe and you will find the answer(I can't​ go any further than that due to privacy issues but it will all be spelled out in writing on September 10th when the white paper is released). Me (M): Why don't we start here with a simple question... tell me about Clout coin and it's practical use for real world investments in the cryptocurrency community?

Jeff (J): The CLOUT Token (CLC) is the use token on the CLOUT Network. CLC itself will be used as the voting mechanism that users can effectively "upvote" relevant and quality posts. By upvoting these posts, the posts will rise to the top of the online interface. This ensures that only the best posts are displayed front and center for the CLOUT Community to stay up to date on all things crypto related. All user made posts and comments are rewarded with CLC, relative to a number of upvotes they receive. This incentivizes quality posts and comments alike.

M: Outstanding, so tell me about your role with Clout and your experience as well as who is on the development team that is contributing to the overall success of Clout?

J: My official role with CLOUT is as Social Media Manager. Alongside directing the SM accounts, I have been aiding in the branding, design, video creation, and creative input for various other front end platforms. I am the founder and admin of two cryptocurrency communities that are among the largest communities currently on Facebook. I also run the web page EthereumInvesting.Info and around a dozen other social media groups focused in the cryptocurrency sector. Our Team is absolutely stacked full of jaw dropping talent. M: What makes Clout unique among that plethora of other crypto coins on the market today? And what kinda of future do yourself and the rest of the development team see for the token as well as the platform?

J: CLOUT will be the first of it's kind, a much needed pioneer in the cryptocurrency community.

Currently there is no exclusive cryptocurrency platform that investors can go to receive all of their information and up to date news. As of now, bits of information are scattered across websites and forums, making it challenging for investors to stay informed in a rapidly changing and developing sector.

CLOUT will be the first online integrated software that will offer cryptocurrency investors a home. This decentralized media solution will allow users to have easy access to all breaking news and upcoming ICO's, rewarding the CLOUT Community with monetized incentives along the way.

M: What are some major milestones that an investor should look forward to in the near future?

J: September 10th we are launching our Pre-ICO on CLOUT.io, selling only 3 million tokens at $1 per. Then, October 27th, we launch our full three tiered ICO. These rolling tiers will be 4M tokens at $2.50, 2M at $5, and then 1M at $10. This fundraiser will be the slingshot for development on the CLOUT Network, which will launch in Beta March 20th.

M: In the world of cryptocurrency lately we have seen a large amount of ICOs that are, to be frank, scams. What kind of securities and assurances will be given to an investor that will alleviate this type of concern and thus contribute to the overall success of this project?

J: The CLOUT Network is a platform built for the cryptocurrency community. It is in our deepest and best interest to protect the investments off all of our community members. Many people are familiar with ERC20 tokens, which are built on Ethereum, we will be using the upgraded ERC223 tokens. ERC223's are comparable to ERC20's in that they compatible with MyEtherWallet and the Ledger Nano S, however, they have the added functionality of eliminating lost tokens during smart contract transactions. They also use half the gas of ERC20's

Outlined in our whitepaper is a full breakdown of our token allotment, which empowers the long term building and growth of the CLOUT Network. For a brief overview, only 10% of tokens are being sold in the ICO. Also, all executives have committed to being locked in to smart contracts, prohibiting any team members from selling large portions of their tokens and causing a drop in token price.

The CLOUT Executive Team is fully fuelled by drive of bringing a much needed solution, and a home to all of our community members!

M: You mentioned the whitepaper when can we expect that?

J: The whitepaper will be released September 10th, alongside the opening of our pre-ICO

M: Awesome! What are the requirements to participate in the Pre ICO and the ICO? Are people, in the US specifically, abel to participate?

Y: Our only requirement for the ICO are that investors must be non-US residents, correct. The ICO will be funded using ETH, with currently no minimum investment.

For the Pre-ICO however, investors must be non-US residents, fill out a ppm and be certified accredited investors.

M: Do we know what exchanges the token will be listed on once it goes live?

J: We are currently working with a number of exchanges to find partners that are a fit for CLOUT. We will be announcing our partnered exchanges in the near future. However, what I can say is that we are currently going through the application process with Binance exchange.Our CEO (Joshua Hawley) recently had lunch in Shanghai with Binance executives to discuss listing our ICO in their exchange, it's looking very promising but am not able to get any more detailed at this time.

M: Last question, what are some final insights and comments for future investors from you?

J: That in any ICO you should always do you due diligence by reading through the whitepaper and analyzing the team. In Conclusion, I would rate this ICO a 9 out of 10 based on the information that I currently know and maybe that will increase as more information is released. I am very excited about this and i hear that the PRE ICO slots are filling up very fast.
