With a negative 1 stage modifier and the !magiczap (or !mysticzap) hit being capped at 6, this will continue on forever. I'm sorry to be high maintenance.

In the interest of good sports manship, I think I should use mblast to finish this.
I prepared a category during the last IBT for this exact circumstance. It wasn't printed in the previous edition because no one had followed the path that you figured out. Now that you've done it, the new category will be added into the book -- most attempts allowed and needed to complete a stage by dishonorable means.
You won't be breaking any record; instead you will be the first to set one in this new category. Go back and re-roll those Gobbos if you haven't already done so, and then finish off with a proper !mysticblast when you're ready to do so.
