The influx of renewable energy to national power grids has hit something of a bottleneck. While technological innovation in energy storage has taken off, the current infrastructure is limited in the amount of energy that can be stockpiled from intermittent sources such as solar and wind power charging the chemicals in batteries.
Renewable energy is becoming more affordable, but the unstable nature of production and reliance on the right solar and wind farm conditions has held back renewables in the quest to replace fossil fuels.Large corporations and companies are now looking at a non-depleted uninterrupted source of natural energy which is gravity storage .
