I only ask because I need to make sure I don't have any red notification numbers on my account. Apparently that's bad.
So I have to make sure I read all the new posts in my feed as soon as they come in, and reply to all my replies.

AFAIK, this "Facebook" thing was something that our parents (grandparents?) were faddish about...
