This is all good advice. Thank you for writing this article! I am not good at small talk either. It never seems to go anywhere. I would much rather develop a friendship with someone who I feel is going to go someplace. Lots of people drop off. The select few that stick around are the ones that matter.
This is it, there will be ones that come and go, aren't in it for the right reasons, but time will sort those.
