How to Prepare Grilled Peppered Rabbit Meat – A Step by Step Guide

I want to show you how I prepare my tasty grilled peppered rabbit meat with my secret recipe. In my last post I talked about how to skin a rabbit – a step by step guide. This post is a follow up post to help you know what to do with the skinned rabbit.
Steps by Step guide to make peppered grilled rabbit meat
There are many ways to prepare rabbit meat, you can boil it and put it in your soup or stew, you can fry it or roast it but my favorite method is to grill it with my secret recipe which taste very good and will bring out a lot of aroma that even you neighbors will come knocking on you door whenever you are preparing it. Lol.
A skinned rabbit
Step 1: Dissert the rabbit and stretch it out
Dessert the rabbit, I like cutting it open from the chest to stomach area and removed the internal organs. Be careful not to cut up the internal organs so that the waste doesn’t spill into the body. After disserting it, stretch the body so that it is flattened as shown in the picture below.

Step 2: Cook the rabbit
Put the rabbit in a big pot so that it is flat at the base of the pot
Pour 2 cups of water into the pot
Add the following ingredients into the pot:
• 2 bulb of onion
• 2 teaspoon of Thyme
• 2 teaspoon of curry
• 4 cubes of seasoning cubes
• 2 teaspoons of grounded pepper
Allow the rabbit meat to boil for 10 minutes.
Cook the rabbit with ingredients for 10 minutes
Step 3: Prepare the rabbit meat sauce
While the rabbit is allowed to cook for 10 minutes, we prepare the rabbit sauce. The rabbit sauce is going to be brushed onto the body of the rabbit before it is put into the grill.
The recipe for the sauce is as follows:
• 4 cloves of garlic
• a bulb of onion
• 1 hunk of ginger
• 1 hunk of turmeric
• 4 cubes of seasoning cubes
• 4 teaspoons of grounded pepper
• 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Blend all the items together excluding the vegetable oil and pepper. Mix the blended ingredients with the vegetable oil and pepper in a bowl and stir it properly so that they form a pulp.
You mix should look like what is seen in the picture above
Step 4: Brush the rabbit sauce onto the body of the rabbit meat
Using a brush, apply the rabbit sauce mix onto the body of the rabbit meat. Make sure it gets into all the parts of the rabbit.
Apply the rabbit sauce on to the rabbit meat
Step 5: Put rabbit meat in the grill
Put the rabbit inside the grill and leave it for 10 minutes, flop it over and allow it to grill for another 5 minutes, turn it off and live it in the grill for 5 more minutes before bringing it out of the grill.
Our peppered rabbit meat is ready to eat
Other Options:
We don’t always have to grill the rabbit whole, we could cut it up and do the same routine we did on the whole rabbit meat to get smaller parts that can be served with other dishes.

Conclusion:
Grilled peppered rabbit meat is very healthy to eat, has low fat and cholesterol. Am sure if you taste it you will ask for more.
