💡 Tutorial: How to use the Steepshot App for quick Steemit photo posts?
Hi Steemians & blog-readers,
in this article I want to show you how you can use the @steepshot app for mobile devices, to publish quick photo-posts when you are not at home!
Note: Im using it with Android and I don´t know if it is different with IOS. I only know that you need an extra app store to download it for IOS. Here you can visit the official Steepshot website, where you can find the links to download the app: steepshot.io
What is Steepshot?
Steepshot is a Steemit application and it is like Instagram, but with the difference that you can earn money by posting photos there, because it is linked with the Steemit Blockchain! I think I don´t have to explain what is Instagram, right? ;-)
All posts you are publishing with Steepshot, will be posted on your Steemit blog too and so maybe you could reach more people, because your photo-post will be shown in the Steepshot & the Steemit feed.
How to use Steepshot?
The usage is quite similar to Instagram and I will show you how to publish your first Steepshot post now:
1. Download the App in your App-store and login with you Steemit login data.
Visit steepshot.io to find the link to the app in your app store of your mobile device, or search for "Steepshot" in your app store.
2. Click on the "Photo Button" and take a photo, or choose a already taken photo.
3. Choose a title and you can add a description too.
4. Now you can also add some additional Tags, in addition to the #steepshot Tag, which is included automatically.
Just click on "Add Tags" and then you can choose, or also enter, a maximum of four more tags to your post, so that more people can find it and the tag number 5 is always #steepshot. If you don´t add more tags, your post will only have the "Steepshot" tag. 👌
5. Publish your photo post and edit it afterwards on Steemit if you like, to add more text and/or pictures.
After you clicked on "Post Photo", your photo-post is published and as I already mentioned, it will be posted on your Steemit blog too, so that you can edit it afterwards with more information. I don´t have to explain how to edit articles, right? ;-)
I hope that I was able to inspire some people with this tutorial to become more active on Steemit, because it is really getting more & more easier to post articles here and you don´t have to write long articles to be active!
I know that many people are to lazy for writing articles... But why not using Steepshot then, instead of posting your content on other social networks for free? ---

Hi. Ihr seid ja schon etwas länger dabei und ich frage mich gerade ob es möglich ist Fotos auf Steepshot zu posten, ohne automatisch auch gleich auf Steemit zu posten? Ich würde das gerne etwas trennen. Über eine Antwort würde ich mich echt sehr freuen.

Leider im App-Store nicht gefunden :(
Hast du Android, oder IOS? Im Google Play Store findest du es definitiv. Für IOS braucht man so einen extra App Store, Steepshot gibt es da leider noch nicht im Apple-Store, zumindest nicht im deutschen Store... (Wir Deutschen sind doch echt Lappen und hängen immer hinterher xD)
Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass du ein Iphone hast. Dann brauchst du diesen Store hier:
Ja, es hat auf den belorussischen store gewechselt, die app war dort aber dann auch nicht auffindbar
Ah ok schade, kommt aber sicher bald auch im deutschen Store für IOS. Oder hole dir halt ein Android Smartphone, kann ich eh empfehlen, Haha! xD
Und es gibt auch eine Web-Version von Steepshot, aber das ist ja nicht Sinn der Sache, dann kann man auch direkt auf Steemit posten...

Hi there, I appreciate the post, unfortunately for me the app isn’t available on my iPhone here in the states. So I have to go on safari to use Steepshot. I have two issues. I am unable to use my password every time, I have to reenter it everytime, idk why. And the other thing is my first post my picture is upside down, I don’t know how that happened or how to fix it. Any help would be amazing! Thank you much, peace.
Quick question
If I post on Steemit pst with few pictures I decided to use steepshot to put one picture there but then it shows up on steemit and there it might look as double post .
Is it possible that steepshot pics does not show on steemit? Or its just better to put different pictures on steemit and on steepshot?
