Danish Hotdog is da' BEST and the secret is.....fried onion. The fried onion on top gives you that extra crunch to the spicy tender hotdog blanket in the perfectly toasted bun. The pickles also add that extra tartness to the hotdog that is a bit sweet. It's an explosion of flavor -- Super yummy! Picture below is the food stand where I got my hotdog, but you can find hotdog stands almost at every block of Copenhagen.

Joinery's Smoked Polish Kielbasa
It is a nice ~40 mins ferry ride from the Ferry Building to Sausalito and another 5 mins walk to get to Joinery. Driving from SF to Sausalito is also an option, but taking a ferry is more fun. Also, if you take a ferry, please sit outside... it is a little cold (I know), so wear a jacket. The view of the Bay is worth it. Joinery looks rather hip from the outside but isn't as flashy as the other restaurants in Sausalito. Right when you walked in, you will see their menu up on the wall. I've tried almost all of them and you cannot go wrong picking any one meal on that menu; the rotiserrie chicken, porchetta sandwich, crispy brussel sprouts, french fries, garlic fries, dirty fries, bread and fresh mozzarella, and of course...the kielbasa. Try seating on the back patio area where you can look at the Bay, surrounded by the blue water, let the wind blow your hair a bit, take a bite of your kielbasa and finish it with some cold beer. Glorious!
