I would be ok in NY it is just the fact that in a SHTF, grid down, scenario my AR's, ammo and six month food and water supply won't do me much good with the population here and the inability to get off the Island. The only way off and to the mountains is by Ferry or through New York City. Not ideal by any stretch 😩
Yeah, you need to get out of there. If you have the will, you will find a way!
Lots of boats on the Island. But then I will need to get an automobile on the other side. Ughh.
