I would be one of the first to thank him for four years serving his country if that service wasn't so shrouded in mystery. I know many that served their country, one with missing limbs, and all of them are proud of their service. One my friends has his DD414 framed right next to two purple heart medals.
Mr. Reid would had been wise to keep quiet about his military service unless he had the evidence to back up his claims. I am not saying he didn't serve in some capacity but given his track record of gross exaggerations its inevitable that he would be questioned because of the inconsistent claims.
