What I'm doing here...
Well hello there everyone! I learned about Steemit through my boyfriend recently and I thought what the heck, why not give it a go.
I'm just posting this here as an introduction of sorts, so here it goes:
I live and work in Florida and one of my main passions right now is learning how to be more sustainable and do and make more things for myself. I have gotten into chicken keeping, soap making, gardening, and much more! My goal here is to have my own homestead- but right now I am learning all of this in a rental with just my backyard to work with, and I hope to share the journey along the way.
Feel free to follow if you want cute animal pictures, recipes for beauty products or yummy food, and to follow my woes of learning how to homestead.

Way to hit the ground running with your intro and first blog post in the same hour! Nice :) You may want to consider adding a validation photo to your intro post. That would just be a selfie with a hand written sign with your username and date on it. The community seems to like that sort of thing.
