NOT YOUR AVERAGE HOMESTEAD CHANNEL - WE DARE TO BE DIFFERENT
HOW WE BECAME TWOFAMILYHOMESTEAD
Well - in youtube world anyway !! I've had a youtube channel since 2012 and then almost a year ago (well actually prior to that) we had been tossing back/forth about a homestead/gardening type channel and September 2016 TwoFamilyHomestead was born !!! (this time NO c-section ... phew).
So we thought about what type of logo .. quite a few channels have logos .... we were having brain fart after brain fart THEN it dawned on us ... we'll use SMUDGE and make him famous !! Who is Smudge your thinking (trust me - I know you're thinking that). WELL Smudge is our youngest (yet BIGGEST) dog (he will be 2 yrs old in September).
Hubby did a little computer magic and now all you see is his mug !!!
A retired couple in North Central Ohio with diverse religious backgrounds, aging in place. Some Homesteading, Some Prepping, and Some doing the best you can with what you have with a very fixed income. Gardening, Canning, Cooking, Surviving, are just some of what you may find here. Oh yea, some 2nd Amendment stuff as well.
More than anything, we hope this all this will educate our busy grandchildren, so they may learn and gather some insight in their heritage.
We welcome you to come along for the ride if you wish and welcome questions, comments, and suggestions as this forum evolves.

Welcome folks, hope this place turns out to be everything you hoped for.
Back in the early seventies I had a St.Bernard, her name was Nuba. She was a great dog,,,,,but,,,,,she was a thief. Anything the neighbors left laying out and about, Nuba stole it, brought it home and left it on my front porch. Every day was like a yard sale with people shown up to claim the lawn sprinklers, kids toys, claw hammers kids boots, etc,,,yep Nuba was a certified cleptomainiac.
