Keeping the deer out was a wise and sustainable decision. However, you did really good fencing because if it were here in Cameroon, most farmers will just kill all the deers and that is one of the things our organization has been working very seriously to stop. We have been working to stop the indiscriminate killing of animals. For this reason, i think your solution to the deer problem was an excellent one compared to the Cameroonian solution @wildhomesteading.
Thanks, that is too bad about the deer being killed... the fencing of my property is working and luckily I can do it in a way that still let's other animals in such as coyotes, raccoons, etc. It was not my first choice but without a healthy predator population it was really the only sustainable option for me. Thanks for the comment!
