Summer Homestead Freeze Kills Plants & Cleaning Houses We Bought.
We had another freeze, killing garden plants & we are cleaning out the 2 houses and garage we got with our new 18 acre homestead.
We bought the land plus two homes and a garage. But everything was filled up. The garage was filled to the ceiling and had to be emptied out. The two houses were vacation homes and were literally filled as if someone just walked away and left them as is.
We had furniture, appliances, dishes, pot and pans and more. The garage was just loaded with stuff I had to throw out.
We set up a garage sale to get rid of some of the excess stuff that we dont need.
We have many freezing nights this year which is killing gardens all over the area. Everyone who has lived here before is telling us that this year is very unusual.
We are trying to save what we can.
We are sharing our daily videos from the time we moved to our new homestead in April to the present. We are currently in September in the video series and will soon have you caught up. Then you will have the background story. After you are caught up we will continue to share our daily videos and articles as we make them.

Why is it that the insides of the trailer and tiny house are still decorated in the same dated 1970's decor as when you moved in?
I find it peculiar that at the very least, Melanie was not allowed to decorate to her taste instead of leaving everything from the previous owner.
