Planting Soy Bean in the Garden

*GROWTH TERMS

Plants can grow in various types of soil from drainage (water management) and aeration (air system) soil is quite good, rainfall 100-400 mm / month, air temperature 230C - 300C, humidity 60% - 70%, soil pH 5.8 - 7 and an altitude of less than 600 m above sea level.

*LAND PROCESSING

• The soil is hijacked, ragged and flattened
• Remnants of weeds are immersed
• Create a water channel with a distance of about 3-4 m
• Soil is dried three weeks after planting

*PLANTING

• Soak the seeds in a regent red solution with a concentration of 5ml / kg about 15-30 minutes and mixed with Legin (Rhizobium) for soil that has never been planted with soybeans
• Create a spacing between intervals of 30 x 20 cm, 25 x 25 cm or 20 x 20 cm
• Make a hole 5 mm deep and insert 2-3 seeds per hole
• Cover the seeds with loose soil and without compacting
• Good planting time at the end of the rainy season

*WATERING AND FLOWERING

Soybean requires moist soil conditions but not muddy. This condition is needed since the seeds are planted to fill pods. When it comes to harvest, the soil should be dry

*DESCRIPTION & EXTENSION

Soybeans begin to grow around the age of 5-6 days, seeds that do not grow are replaced or embroidered with new seeds which will be better if mixed with Legin. Embroidering should be in the afternoon.

*WEEDING

The first weeding is 2-3 weeks, the second when the plants are finished flowering (about 6 weeks after planting). This 2nd weeding is done in conjunction with the second fertilization.

*LOSS

Pulping is done carefully and not too deep so as not to damage the roots of plants.
