Farming is growing crops or keeping animals by people for food and raw materials. It’s always a part of agriculture.

My contribution in making food available

I intentionally cultivate this piece of land and choose to plant cassava on it, so as to save hunger and famine in my location.

My research was that most people especially youth run from been a farmer, but I’m so glad and happy to be because it has been earning me some amount of money and beside helping in terms of food.

This land was leased to me early last year August just for the passion I’m having for agriculture and my choose to be a farmer, thou it was extremely small I mean not up to a plot of land. I believe it will expand as time goes on. I planted this cassava on the land in September in hoping for the best result . I’m so happy it was a success today.

The essence of doing this is to make food available for prevention of hunger and famine, make some earning, improve my passion in farming.

I’m sharing this post to serve as an encouragement to the youth like me because I believe in some month I will earn big on my farm, and also I will make food surplus for the people around me.
