I haven't heard of anyone here who has bought a house outright in the last 50 years or so. The prices are simply too high. I'm not a fan of the system per say, but we have to work with what is there. Thank you for all your encouragement.
I'm not either but there are few people who can buy property outright even in cheaper areas! For us it was worth it but also because my husband still works
