Little Piglets Enjoying They're New Area

Our four little piglets are a little over a month old now. It still amazes me how fast they grow. When they were born there were about 5 lb a month later there 20 lb. And in about 8 months they will be 400 pounds.

I rotationally grase my pigs and this was the first move for the little piglets. Their mama has been moved many times and knew the routine. But the piglets didn't know what was going on and it took a little coaxing to get them in their new area.

It was also the first time the babies have been behind an electric fence. In the area that they were in, just had regular metal fencing. They figured out pretty quickly not to nudge the electric netting. LOL

Here's their sleeping quarters. It's an old tobacco Barn that I cleared out and through some straw down for them to lay in.

The pigs are thoroughly enjoying the new area. The area that they were in was getting quite muddy with all the rain we've been getting lately. Now they can run around and play and not get stuck in the mud. There love eating the grass roots and bug in there new spot also.
