I got up early this morning to take these pictures. It looked nice after the rain we had the other day. The ground was still muddy but the yard looks great! The plants were doing great. All the tomato plants were happy and Missy even joined me. Of course being the yard behind the house where Missy lives, how could she NOT let me feature her in this blog? You know cats. They aren't spoiled LOL. She had to roll around being cute. =^..^=

Here is an old picture of Missy I posted awhile back:

This is our Tiller.

This row of pots are filled with more Eggplant, Jalapeno Peppers, Sweet Basil, and Peppermint. The last three buckets still need to be filled and planted. The trees in these pictures are Peach Trees.

These three are Blueberry plants. The cage thing you see behind the fence is our compost pile. Where would a garden be without a compost pile right?

These are the pot plants... Ahem, I mean happy Tomato plants. Grandma planted them along both sides the fence and the back fence. So we are going to have A LOT of tomatoes this year. We still have other tomatoes to plant in the other yard where we planted the potatoes.

The plant on the end here I believe is squash.

More Eggplant. And another view of the yard. The trees on this side of the yard are Apple Trees. Two of them are in the buckets and still need to be put in the ground. You can see them better in the picture of the yard above.

Missy of course did a great job helping me take these pictures. Thank you Missy!

Now those buckets you have in your garden I could definitely USE... Did you get them from a nursery? garden center? or buy online?

I many have to consider some of those in the future. I have plans to do TONS more container and bucket gardening in the years to come.

I believe grandma got them at the nursery. She has tons of them of all different sizes. They are good for starts too. They also help keep the cats from rolling around on them. You can plant 3 or 4 crops in the bigger buckets like we did with the Eggplant. They are easy to reuse too.

Oh those are an incredible find from grandma!
We have a few nurseries nearby.. wonder if they ever toss out old ones with cracks... hmmm, will have to investigate

Grandma loves going to the nursery here in town. She has been gardening for years way before I ended up living here so she has been collecting these for quite some time. The only ones we've had to get rid of were ones that were crushed or the bottoms came out of them.

I couldn't tell you the price of them. I would have to ask Grandma.

Good job with the garden. Hard work will pay off.
