I have seen ma y people giving up lawns for gardens. I'm thinking I will join the movement next year!
Lots to consider and more space for herbs and plants. Love it!
It's the way forward. I'll never have enough space to be fully dependent, but I can sure try to keep the food bill to a minimum by growing my own potatoes, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots etc. With the soil I took out, I'm hoping to build and fill some raised beds at the back of the garden for other odds and sods.
