Introducing Two Horses - More Than I Expected!
Several days ago I showed you a post / video about us bringing home to the Daddykirbs Farm a new horse. Since then I've shown some images that make things look all just peachy, but was that how it really went?
This video today shows moments from the first 3 days that will shine a realistic light on what it was like adding a new horse to the farm. We are very much on a journey with these horse. We know that we have a lot to learn. Sharing the story with you is one way that we learn and offer the education of "how we did it" to the greater community.

That turned out real well, yes stay out of their way! Sharing to twitter!
Grew up in a family that relished the animals. I loved them, but 2,000 lbs of anarchy is more than I ever trusted. It has to be love and it has to be a lifestyle. Admire your courage and wish you the very best, they are wonderful animals. Thanks for sharing your experience. Looking forward to good news!
I would hate to get caught with one of those back kicks at 4:30. They got each other at 5:50.
wonderful video. thanks for sharing
That was FASCINATING to watch! My mom is a dog trainer and behaviorist and I've learned over the years from her how much body language and posturing means in the animal world.
Its certainly something this video has inspired me to research when it comes to horses. I'm glad everything turned out ok- I was on the edge of my seat!
WOW...yeah I would nervous with the raw power of those animals kicking around!
Happy Sunday! This comment is to inform you that your article has been linked and featured in the most recent issue of the Weekly Homesteading Newsletter! Please check it out if you have the time! Thank you!
