Metal Detecting adventures w/SteemWhisky
Hi Steemians,
I want to share my adventures of metal detecting with you guys and show you what 3 hours of combing a Sydney beach can get you.
I observe the beach and see where the bulk of people like to sit, the towel line, it's really amateur hour for me, during the day I sure do get a lot of weird looks, even the seagulls are eye balling me funny.
Taking in the scenery, I get to work and work hard, digging and scanning the beach for some cold hard cash.
Check out the immense rewards for my efforts. I even found some keys which must have been lost a while ago, since they were rusty. :D
It's like steemit even if you have low rewards your happy with it.
This is true, finding something is the real reward, then I think to myself, someone has to lose for me to gain in this hobby! This is not true in steemit, valued is determined and earned!
Seems like those coins were on the beach for not long, they still look pretty "fresh" to me hahaha! Would be great if you could write more about your metal detecting experiences, I've always wanted to try metal detecting but I haven't got the chance to have my hands on a metal detector. Keep it up, upvoted and followed you ;)
I sure will, there is competition on the beach, I've seen 2 other people there as well. I took a bit of a break after finding two used condoms on the beach. I will be back again soon. Haha. To clarify, they were in the metal wrapper...
I am really surprised about the used condom though HAHAHA
Yeah, I know right, it would have been better if it was another bottle cap. At least I did the right thing and throw it in the bin, not like the dogs who left it. I see they sometimes have a machine that combs the beach and picks up litter. Like a street cleaner machine.
