Rabbit adhesive
For work with gypsum I use rabbit glue. It is fleshed out. Since it is made from animal meat, rabbit is made from rabbit skins. Homeland appearance of rabbit glue is England. Abundant farms for growing rabbits, served as an idea for the production of glue.
Previously, glue was made in the form of thick plates, so it persists. In the process of storage, the glue can dry out a little. In order not to injure your hands with sharp corners, a glue plate is wrapped in a garbage or a towel is broken. Modern manufacturers of glue produce it already crushed.
To brew the glue it is pre-soaked. In proportion 1 part of the glue to 10 parts of water. The soaking time is 12-24 hours. After that, the glue is brewed in the glue-cook. The temperature should not exceed 60 ° C otherwise the adhesive will lose its ability.
I do not have glue-brew, but I use a regular rice cooker. At the bottom of the box a rag and pour water, put a jar of glue and turn on the heating mode. This mode is about 80-85C. Then I stir and follow to keep it warm. Suffices 30 minutes.
Advantages of glue, it is strong, natural and can be soaked, if the glue is incorrect and it is necessary to re-glue.
Soaking up the glue is not good enough. If the moisture resistance is required, tannic substances are added.
