Art lesson with daughter. How to draw a car.
INTRODUCTION
This is my first post in this community. I’m really happy that I found it.
I’m a mom and an art teacher. I teach my daughter whenever we have free time. She loves to color, and to draw with me.
Last time we learned how to draw a car. She used her new Crayola Stix. They kinda soft almost like an oil pastel.
MATERIALS
-Crayola Twistable Stick Stix
-Watercolor paper
-pencil
-eraser
THE PROCESS
First I showed how to draw the wheels. It’s basically two circles with a straight line that connects them.
Next step is easier, she just needed to draw an outline of the car around its wheels, and the windows.
Then I explained that we should separate sky from the ground with a simple straight line.
After that is kids’ favorite part, coloring 🎨.
FINISHING UP.
Here, she first colored her sky with light blue crayon.
Then it was the grass, for some reason she decided to have her car on a grass.
The last thing to color was the car. She chose red color for it.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR ART LESSON!
