End of WOC Premier League - Sponsored by World of Cricket
A few days ago, @world-of-cricket sponsored a final match of a local cricket tournament name WOC Premier League, WCPL-2021 which ends 04 April 2021 with the final match. A local sports club, @sc-keloka, organized the tournament. It was five days long tournament. 6 different local teams from Dinajpur participated in the tournament. A total of 15 matches were completed in these five days. The over-limit of each match was ten overs for each team. The top two teams in the points table faced each other in the final.
Backshop Cricket Club and Huglipara Young Stars club faced each other in the final match. Before starting the match, both team captains take the picture with the trophy. After winning the toss, the Huglipara Young Stars club decided to field first. They managed to stop Backshop Cricket Club under 120 runs. After playing ten overs, Backshop Cricket Club's score was 119 runs with the loss of four wickets.
Huglipara Young Stars reach the target in 9 overs with the loss of 3 wickets. One of their batsmen name Soyeb scored 72 runs in just 30 deliveries. He has been chosen man of the match of the final match.
On the final match, the honorable chief guest was Rabiul Islam Rasel, vice Chairman of the North Bengal Cricket Association. Due to bad weather, the place was chosen for the prize ceremony had been changed. Each player participating in the game is rewarded. The Honorable Chief Guest placed a medal around the neck of each player. In addition, six players were given honorary caps for their special performances.
