Mascot! A lively, enthusiastic creature that will keep the whole world mesmerized throughout the event or competition, and will reflect the image of the host country in its own eternal and unique way. This mascot is one of the best attractions in any international competition. The mascot can be an animal or a person or something which is going to be lucky for the hosts. It can be a fictional character or a reality that will catch everyone's eye. The mascot will raise many unspoken protests or accusations. Many colorful costumes and any significant name is one of the features of the mascot. The presence of mascots can be seen in almost all competitions. Muscat's vocal presence in football can be seen in every World Cup. But no mascot was used until 1966. It has been introduced in the FIFA World Cup since 1966. The 1966 England World Cup marked the beginning of the introduction of mascots in football. Since then, the mascot has been coming to the delight of the spectators and fans.

The mascot has been used in 14 of the 21 FIFA World Cups held so far. Although eleven World Cups have been held in the cricket world, the mascot has been used in only three editions.
