He played an unbeaten innings of 150 off 281 balls.

In the 2nd innings, Pakistan batted 140 overs and declared the innings at 420 for 9. Australia's dream of victory vanished with this score. In the end, Australia batted 117 overs without walking on the path of victory. They did not give Pakistan a chance to play the second innings.
