Boss Quest: Defeat the British Man o' War!

I hope ye’ve had time ta stock up on supplies, me ‘earties, because the British Royal man o’ war has clearly not turned tail and sailed back to port. It fact, it seems to have redirect’d course and is headin’ directly toward Deadman’s Bay. And let me tell ya what, mateys, I seen the captain through me spyglass and he seems upset. He threw his stupid British hat on the ground and stomped it.
Good thing that ship be so big, it sails quite slow. That said, it ain’t stoppin’, and we need ta protect not only our Bay, but very lives.
It looks like the man o’ war is about 25 nauts away, and depending on the wind could be here any day.
Why, just today the limey monstrosity sailed X nauts closer! (@piratedice knows how fast it be movin’).
Rally y’er crew, me ‘earties! Stock up on cannonballs and arrows. This is gonna be a battle that will go down in Pirate World history!
Objective: Prepare for a frontal assault from the man o’ war. It must be stopped before it reaches Deadman’s Cove!
EASY RULES
1. Make a comment or post and describe y’er action (attack, tactic, etc). Tag “@piratedice” somewhere in it.*
2. One action per player (per turn).
3. Newcomers always be welcome! Ye need not have parrrticipated before to join in the fray.
4. Each turn will last 3 days.
5. The enemy will move closer each turn. It must be stopped before it reaches Deadman’s Cove.

- The Man o' War moved 4 nauts. Only 21 nautical miles away from Deadman's Bay!
- @kerrislravenhill of The Bloody Raven gives the captain of the Man o' War the most epic wedgie: https://steemit.com/hive-197918/@reverendrum/the-wedgie-heard-around-pirate-world. The HMS Boaty McCannonmonger will be in disarray with the incapacitation of Captain Smith. (8 damage and max chaos)
- @the.partisan.spy's ritual to his dark gods spawns two mermaids for further support of The Iron Storm.
- @drlobes and his fleet of 70 hard men, 3 ships, and gifted sirens gather their supplies for a boarding party under the cover of night. Next turn will be interesting.
- @wwwiebe rams the Royal Man o' War with his new ship HSS Lucklastre and the assistance of sirens fer 11 damage.
- @battleaxe (with a critical hit), launches a barrage of flame arrows, dealing 4 damage to the big boss ship. Meanwhile, her enchanting sirens lure 10 of its crew to their watery graves.
- Maiden's Distress unleashes a volley of torpedoes with extra luck from @underground's siren "associates". 6 damage to the boss.
- @miryam's fleet destroys every single sail on the might boss vessel with perfect accuracy.
Between the incapacitation of the captain of HMS Boaty McCannonmonger and the loss of a portion of her crew, the humongous vessel will need time to re-man positions while Captain Smith picks his massive wedgie out of his arse. Its efficacy will be significantly lower'd on turn 2. The boss is completely dead in the water.
I like to sneak aboard at the wee hours a give the Captain wedgie in his sleep.
Ain't call the Bloody Raven for nothing.

As captain of my ship(!), I will leave it anchored to the port, gather my crew, monkeys, and parrots around the holy island pit fire and start the mighty secret dark bloody ritual to summon my and only my mermaid army.
With the token in hand and spitting at the correct tattoos, the ritual begins.

The Iron Storm remains at port as her crew perform a ritual that their dark gods considered mediocre at best. Two mermaids join y'er crew, which will be useful in upcoming attacks. @the.partisan.spy
I've got almost 70 hard men under my command and 3 small boats and plenty of hooks and rope to improvise some ladders, when the dark comes we'll go for it, some using the boats and some swimming, maybe the sirens of @battleaxe can help.

The new HSS Lucklastre (His Skeletal Ship, and Lucklastre because why not) turns with it's crew of Skelecaptain and Sirens and aims itself on a collision course. Boneapart positions himself on the front bow of the ship, cutlass held high, so the crew of the man-o-war can see him coming. The sirens on crew are ordered to keep the ship on course as long as possible; the first sign of damage they are to dive overboard adn head back to their previous ship and command. Ramming speed!

With great bravery and the speed of sirens at his side, Bone'a'part rams the Royal Man o' War for 11 damage. The speed at which he rams the vessel sends the skeleton pirate flyin' into the nets on her side. @wwwiebe, roll the dice to see if ye can grab on in time.
