Happy New Year, Bahasa Indonesia Lesson 3: Indonesian Words for Number
Introduction
There are ancient civilizations that used their number, before the number used by almost the whole of the world exists. On the record, there is Babylon, Egyptian, Mayan, and Roman. In the present, we used Hindu-Arabic numbers as a numeric system. Founded by Indian Mathematicians, adopted by Arabian Mathematicians, introduced and spread to Medieval Europe by the Arabian merchant while they trade goods and items.

With some rules from quadrillion until skewe’s number, “C” replace with “S”, “O” replace with “U”, “Q” replace with “K”, there is no Double “L”.
The way to read Indonesian numbers is similar to English numbers. For example, “12345” in English read as “twelve thousand, three hundred, forty-five”, in Indonesian read as “dua belas ribu, tiga ratus, empat puluh lima”.
