How to cut and sew short(knicker)

Hi everyone, how are you doing today I hope you are all doing good.
Today I want to show you guys how to cut and sew short (knicker). Firstly get ur fabrics, scissor, tape and chalk ready, then keep the fabric on the table and fold it end-to-end as u can see in the picture

Then take your measurement from the edge down to the length you want (e.g 20inches)

Then take the measurement of the thigh, to get the measurement of the thigh divide the measurement of the waist into foure and then mark as you can see below

Then you now draw from the point of the waist to the point of the thigh to get your flap, then you slop down to the knee,

You can now cut

The front is ready

Now to get the back, just fold the remaining fabric end-to-end again and place the already-cut front on it and add 2inches allowance (for sewing) at each point and then cut

The front and back is ready for sewing

Then for sewing
Join the front to the back accordingly and put elastic

Your short is ready!!!
