Its really interesting looking back to years of being a student, those years are unforgettable, they have their good days and bad days as a student, because we went through different emotions given by different teachers but still school life is the best.

As regards the topic that warrant this post, i humbly give warming gesture to this very moderator @lhorgic for this memorable flashback of been a student, somehow student tends to dislike a particular subject during his or her school days, we receive different subject but there is this particular subject that a student surely will dislike maybe due to its hard understanding or maybe the calculation aspect or maybe the reading aspect of a particular subject.

So during my days in the secondary school, i was very ok with all subject during my junior classes but promoting to the senior level some subject became unfriendly, you have to go through brain storming before figuring out the right answer or deep thinking before understanding those subjects but as a student i don’t want stress, i just want everything to go smoothly without thorns, mind you these subjects are not one, very tough subjects but it depend on each individual as a student to figure out which that turn him or her off.

Backdated to 2009 at BLESSED ASSURANCE COMPREHENSIVE COLLEGE when i got promoted to the senior level of which i choose to be a science student in the 2nd term knowing fully well that i will be attending chemistry classes which is an essential subject in the science department, i never liked chemistry from the very 1st term where we did all subject without segmentation, mere looking at the chemistry text books i find everything difficult.

I tried hard to love this subject as it brings me a setback in the general assessment of my report card, i simply don’t know why i hate this subject truely, maybe i was just scared looking at undefined diagrams in the text books or maybe the complexity of the subject topic, i don’t just know, i simply don't just like it no matter how hard i try to love it, till today i see people in laboratories as geniuses, because i simply cant understand how they manage to love and understand a complex subject like chemistry.

As I continue to learn this subject, i find it difficult, stress that you don’t encounter in other subjects, chemistry will give that stress, at a point in time we were asked to learn off hand the first 20 elements and its abbreviation, i came across periodic table, compound solutions, we have to do titration, there is also organic chemistry, upon all this chemistry still has it own calculation aspect.

As it teaching goes deeper, it deepens my hatred for this subject and i begin to get uninterested in all it has to offer, i started by avoiding the class by given different excuses as such i begin to use the bestowed time for chemistry classes in other departmental classes, sometimes i act sick and most time i used those time in boys toilets doing nothing.

If i had the opportunity(which i wasn't granted) to be absent from school because of a subject i will be absent for 4 day out of the 5 days of going to school in a week because chemistry was taught i my school almost everyday. It was a miracle when i found out i had c4 in chemistry in my Western African Examination Council (WAEC) result because i wasn’t expecting nothing more than a f9, because i just eat the bottom of my pen throughout the exam without writing anything meaningful..

I still reflect to those days though sometimes, and when i think of them i just laugh and smile, those days were memorable because remembering all of the drama i acted up just to be absent from that class is something that will make yu shine your teeth.

Chemistry was a nightmare to me then, as i was beaten most times for failing in test and examinations. I hereby use this opportunity to invite my friends @ladyofploicy @preciouspresh and @pocoloco01 to share with us that subject that they dislike and they can also join the trail as i will be dropping the link below.

Some times that subject you hated the more in your high school days could be what will put food on your table at the long run. Its good to learn that despite your unexplainable hatred for chemistry you still made C4 in your WASSCE. CONGRATS @olabillions
