Hey guys

good morning great people of steem-skillshare How are you all doing, i hope you all are doing great, has for me i am very good. It has been some days I have not posted here in this community because of my work and when I come back I feel weak sometimes so I just decide to sleep up, but today I force myself to make sure that I post my skill today in the community for my follow members in this group to learn more about upholstery.

So today I am writing to illustrate how to reupholster a car seat and at the end of this write-up I am expecting each and every one to give it a try to it. For those that know how to sew already it will be very easy for them to pick up some people may think this work is a common work but it is very important so let's get started

Let's see how i make this beautiful seat

To reupholster a car seat first of all you need to loss the seat from the car for easy reupholst just has shown above

The next thing you need to do is for you to choose the fabric or leather that you want to use when covering the seat and the colour have to match with the interior of the car. Here we are using black leather.

The next step is for you scatter the seat, just has shown in the picture below

After you scatter the seat the next thing is for you to measure each point on the seat or if the Old leader is still very ok you can just use a knife and remove it the way it's being saw and then place it on the new fabric and cut it exactly.

If you were removing the old fabric to place on the new one, you will now proceed guming it with a half inches foam but if you did not use the old fabric to Mark out the point you have to trim the new fabric to form a shape you want thereafter you now place it on a foam and cut it out

After cutting it out the next step is for you to sew each of the point together to form what you want. shown below

The next step is there reupholstering of the seat. For you to reupholst you need to remove the whole fabric and inside they you will see some clip, you have to remove it and clip it back with ur new sew material to hold it to the foam and also make the fabric tight to the seat and bring out the design. Each of the steps are being describe with the help of photos below.

After following all the step carefully finally this is what we get has the out come of it.
